Snoop alternative that reads your receipts
Snoop is a free UK money app that connects to your accounts to track bills, warn you about your balance and find subscriptions. Subscriptrack reads your receipts instead, so it needs no bank connection. Snoop is the cheaper start. Subscriptrack suits people who want the detail on a receipt, or who do not want an app watching their account.

The main difference
Snoop works from your bank transactions, which is what lets it check upcoming bills against your balance. Subscriptrack never sees your balance. It works from receipts, so it knows the plan you are on and when a trial ends, as the sender states them.
The two answer different questions. Snoop asks whether you have enough money for what is coming. Subscriptrack asks what you are paying for, and how to stop.
When Snoop is the better choice
- You want a free app and are happy to connect your accounts.
- You want warnings when bills may not be covered by your balance.
- You want a wider view of bills and everyday money.
When Subscriptrack is the better choice
- You do not want to connect a bank.
- You want to see trials before they turn into charges. A bank only shows them once you have paid.
- Many of your subscriptions go through Apple, Google or PayPal, where bank lines say little.
- You want step-by-step cancel guides, and a private calendar link for renewals.
What Subscriptrack does not do
It does not see your balance, and it does not cover everyday spending or energy and broadband deals. It has no free plan after the trial. Bills paid by direct debit that never email you need a statement upload or a manual entry.
See everything you pay for
Subscriptrack reads your receipts and builds one list of your subscriptions, with renewal reminders and no bank login.
Questions
- Does Snoop cancel subscriptions for me?
- Its App Store page says it helps you uncover and cancel subscriptions, but does not say it cancels them on your behalf. Check Snoop's own help pages.
- Why would I pay when Snoop is free?
- If a free bank-connected app does the job, use it. Subscriptrack is for people who do not want a bank connection, or who want what only receipts show, like plan names and trial end dates.
- Does Subscriptrack sell my data or earn from switching?
- No. We never sell your data, and we earn from subscriptions, not from suppliers.
