Subscription cost calculator
Add what you pay and see the yearly total. Most people underestimate this, so keep your statement or receipts nearby.
Easy ones to forget:
Per year
£0.00
- Per month
- £0.00
- Over 5 years
- £0.00
Nothing you type is saved or sent. Sharing creates a link with your yearly total only.
Questions
- How do I work out what a subscription costs per year?
- Multiply a monthly price by 12, a quarterly price by 4 and a weekly price by 52. A yearly price stays the same. The calculator does this for each row and adds them up.
- What should I include?
- Anything that charges you again without asking: streaming, music, apps, cloud storage, software, gyms, newspapers, delivery memberships and phone insurance.
- Is what I type saved?
- No. It stays in your browser and is gone when you close the page. If you share your total, the link holds that one number and nothing else.
- Why is my real total higher?
- It usually is, because this only counts what you remember. Check your receipts, your App Store and Google Play lists, and 13 months of statements.
