Bobby alternative that fills in your list for you
Bobby is an iPhone app for keeping a list of your subscriptions. You pick each service and enter the details yourself. Subscriptrack reads your receipts and builds the list for you. The right choice depends on how many you have, and on whether you already know what they are.

The main difference
Bobby is a list you keep yourself. That makes it cheap, private and quick for a handful of subscriptions you already know about. It cannot show you something you have forgotten, because the list only holds what you enter.
Subscriptrack works from your paperwork instead, so it can turn up charges you had lost track of, and it can update the list when a new receipt arrives.
When Bobby is the better choice
- You have a few subscriptions and know what they all are.
- You want a one-off price, not an ongoing one.
- You want everything on your iPhone, with no accounts or inbox access.
When Subscriptrack is the better choice
- You suspect you are paying for things you have forgotten.
- You do not want to type in every plan and date, or keep them up to date.
- You use Android or Windows as well as an iPhone, or want your list in a browser.
- You want to hear about price rises and trial ends without watching for them.
What Subscriptrack does not do
It is not an offline phone app, and it needs a receipt or statement to find anything by itself. It also costs more than a one-off purchase, because reading receipts has a running cost. If you only want a tidy list you keep yourself, it is more than you need.
See everything you pay for
Subscriptrack reads your receipts and builds one list of your subscriptions, with renewal reminders and no bank login.
Questions
- Which should I try first?
- If you have under ten subscriptions and know them all, try Bobby first, because it costs very little. If you are not sure what you are paying for, you need something that reads your receipts or statements.
- Is Bobby on Android?
- Its current App Store listing covers Apple devices only. We could not confirm a maintained Android version, so check the Google Play Store.
- Can I use Subscriptrack on my phone?
- Yes. It is a web app, so it runs in your phone's browser on iPhone and Android. There is no app to install.
- Can I still add subscriptions by hand?
- Yes. Anything without a receipt can be added manually, and you can edit or remove anything on your list.
