How to cancel Xero

Cancel directly with Xero. Stopping your card payment does not end the contract, so you could still owe money.

  1. In Xero, My Xero
  2. Subscriptions & Billing
  3. Cancel subscription. Fees continue through the notice period

Notice period

Terms: you cancel by giving one month's notice in advance via your Xero account (stated as one month, not a day count; 30 is approximate).

Before you finish

  • Check your next billing date, so you cancel in time.
  • Keep the cancellation confirmation until after that date.
  • Save or export anything you want to keep from your account.
