How to cancel The Atlantic

Cancel directly with The Atlantic. Stopping your card payment does not end the contract, so you could still owe money.

Open The Atlantic's cancel page

Steps

  1. Sign in to your Atlantic account
  2. Select Subscription, then Manage Subscription
  3. In the Manage Subscription section, select Cancel
  4. Cancel before your current term ends to avoid being charged for the next one
  5. If you cannot cancel online, contact Customer Care. For App Store or Google Play subscriptions, cancel with Apple or Google

Paying through Apple or Google?

If you signed up in an app, cancel in that store instead: Apple or Google Play.

Before you finish

  • Check your next billing date, so you cancel in time.
  • Keep the cancellation confirmation until after that date.
  • Save or export anything you want to keep from your account.
