How to cancel Proton

Cancel directly with Proton. Stopping your card payment does not end the contract, so you could still owe money.

Steps

  1. Account.proton.me
  2. Settings
  3. All settings
  4. Subscription
  5. Cancel subscription
  6. Continue
  7. Confirm. Plan runs to period end

Paying through Apple or Google?

If you signed up in an app, cancel in that store instead: Apple or Google Play.

Before you finish

  • Check your next billing date, so you cancel in time.
  • Keep the cancellation confirmation until after that date.
  • Save or export anything you want to keep from your account.
