How to cancel British Gas HomeCare

Cancel directly with British Gas HomeCare. Stopping your card payment does not end the contract, so you could still owe money.

Steps

  1. Use live web chat, call 0333 202 9343 or write to the HomeCare Membership Office. Cancelling the Direct Debit alone does not cancel

Notice period

After the 14-day cool-off, cancellation takes effect on the date you notify them, with a refund for time already paid. Cancellation charges may apply if work was done.
